Workshop 2016
The 11th Workshop took place from the 5th to the 8th of May 2016 in Neunzehnhain, near Dresden in Germany. Five keynote-speakers contributed substantially to the success of the workshop: Bernd Blasius (University of Oldenburg), Thomas Mueller (BiK-F Frankfurt), Justin Calabrese (Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute), Uta Berger (TU Dresden) and Kerstin Wiegand (University of Göttingen).

Workshop 2015: “10th Anniversary Workshop”
The 10th Workshop with the title “10th Anniversary Workshop” took place from the 5th to the 8th of May 2015 in Lachen SZ near Zurich in Switzerland. Four keynote-speaker contributed substantially to the success of the workshop: Harald Bugmann (ETH Zurich), Tamara Münkemüller (Laboratoire d’Écologie Alpine), Niklaus Zimmermann (WSL Birmensdorf) and Florian Hartig (University of Freiburg).
Workshop 2014
The 9th Workshop with the title “Ecological modelling across disciplines” took place from the 1st to the 4th of May 2014 at the “Waldpädagogikzentrum Haus Steinberg” close to Göttingen in Germany. Four keynote-speaker contributed substantially to the success of the workshop: Franziska Taubert (UFZ Leipzig), Thomas Petzoldt (TU Dresden), Marleen Cobben (Netherlands Institute of Ecology in Wageningen), Oliver Jakoby (WSL Birmensdorf).
Workshop 2013
The 8th Workshop “Trends in research and recent methods in ecological modelling” took place from the 2nd to the 5th of May 2013 at the Ecological Field Station of the University of Potsdam in Gülpe (Germany). The keynote speakers Volker Grimm (UFZ Leipzig), Florian Jeltsch (University of Potsdam), Katrin Meyer (University of Göttingen) and Jarl Giske (University of Bergen) are gratefully acknowledged for their contributions to the workshop.
Workshop 2012
The 7th Workshop (and at the same time the 1st workshop as a GfÖ “Arbeitskreis”) took place from the 2nd to the 5th of May 2012 at Schloss Craheim near Schweinfurt (Germany). The keynote speakers Hans-Joachim Poethke (University of Würzburg), Miguel Zavala (Universidad de Alcalá), Dries Bonte (Ghent University), Frank M. Hilker (University of Bath) and Mathias Gutmann (KIT Karlsruhe) are particularly acknowledged for their contributions to the workshop.
